Dr. Chang

Dr. Chang is a fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon focusing on shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee open and arthroscopic surgery. He also specializes in shoulder replacement. He is based out of Nashville, TN and practices at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is a team doctor for the Nashville Sounds and Vanderbilt University athletics.

During a fellowship at The Steadman Clinic (Vail, CO), he assisted in team coverage for the U.S.A. ski team and provided coverage for Team U.S.A. at the 2022 Freeski World Cup event in Austria. He trained at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Chang has published over 30 articles on various conditions including shoulder and knee conditions. He won a research grant from the O.R.E.F. for his work on 3-D printing during his residency. During medical school, he was named to the honor medical society, the A.O.A.

He focuses on patient-centered and individualized care. As a sports surgeon, he wants to help get you back to life and the activities you love whether that means surgical or non-operative solutions. Dr. Chang enjoys taking care of patients of all-ages and backgrounds and wants to be there for every step of your care.
